Whether it’s used access platforms that you are looking for or a new scissor lift or boom lift. The chances are we probably have it in stock. Our extensive stock list is updated constantly on our website and there you can see actual photographs of the machines. This list is divided by the following categories, Diesel Scissor Platforms, Electric Scissor Platforms, Personnel Platforms, Self Propelled Articulated, Self Propelled Telescopic and Trailer Mounted. In addition to new and used platforms we also have a number of ex demonstration access platforms available for sale. If the machine that you are looking for doesn’t feature on our website you should still Contact us as there may be a chance that the access platform you need will be coming into stock in the future.

Site surveys?

Every member of our Sales or Rental Team has vast experience when specifying which machine or mix of machines will do the job. After asking a few questions and inspecting all aspects of the site and its conditions and limitations, our team member will be able to advise which machine or machines would be suitable. It maybe that you have very narrow aisles or corridors in which case a narrow isle scissor lift or even a narrow electric boom with up and over capability zero tailswing and zero front arm swing could be suitable. Or it could be that you are using the machine externally and the ground conditions are poor, in which case it could be one of our range of four wheel drive rough terrain scissors or four wheel drive rough terrain booms. Whatever the situation our team are available to take the guesswork out of it. If you would like a member of our Sales or Rental team to visit your premises, please do hesitate to contact us.

Can I try before I buy?

Yes, we welcome all of our customers to either of our facilities at Caldicot or Swansea to view, inspect and try out any of our Access Platforms. Whether it’s articulated booms or telescopic booms, rough terrain scissors or slab scissors.  Or maybe its trailer mounted booms you want to see. Whatever the product, we are here to help. We have both new and used Work platforms available to try from Genie, JLG, Niftylift, Skyjack, Manitou, Upright, Aerial, Haulotte any many more.

What condition are the used machines sold in?

All of our used access platforms go through our workshop. Here our CAP certified engineers will service each machine and carry out a full LOLER inspection and load test. Electric machines also get a new set of batteries. Each machine is then supplied operating and maintenance manuals, spares manual, LOLER certificate, inspection certificates and PDI (pre delivery inspection) reports. For machines sold in Europe post 1997 a CE certificate is also provided. Our reputation is important to us so we only supply pre owned access platforms that have gone through our workshop.

What is a LOLER certificate?

LOLER stands for Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations, it is a 6 monthly certificate of inspection for your machine(s)
