Loxam goes with AJ

Loxam Access has purchased over 100 young used aerial lifts for its UK rental fleet from Caldicot, UK based AJ Access Platforms.

The units, some of which have been refurbished, include a variety of booms and scissor lifts including Genie GS4390`s and 5390 Rough Terrain scissor lifts to Genie Z45/25, S65, Z60/34 and S125’s all fitted with on board generators.

The lifts are all aged between one and four years old and have been delivered directly to Loxam depots throughout the UK, with the final machines being delivered next month.

Brian Stead Loxam’s UK managing director said: “In 2011 Loxam has increased its fleet by over 15 percent to respond to significantly increased demand from our customers. The strong service enhancement plan over the last 12 months has both increased retention and attracted new customers. To deliver best value for the customer base a mix of new and second user equipment has been sourced.”

Brian Stead also comments “AJ Access have been an excellent partner in securing, servicing and where necessary refurbishing the ‘second user’ equipment all of which falls into the “nearly new category”.
