AJ Access Platforms Ltd are able to offer a comprehensive range of safety equipment and workwear to ensure that whatever the job, you have the correct PPE to work safely at height.
We offer a wide range of Hi-Viz clothing (listed below). Clear visibility whilst working at height is vital for both operator and those working nearby and we would strongly recommend the use of this clothing. It is, of course, mandatory on all construction sites.
Along with Hi-Viz, other items of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are also vital in complying with site and statutory regulations. Whether you need; hard hats, ear defenders, safety footwear, gloves or goggles we can supply these items where and when you need them.
The use of work restraint harnesses in boom type Access Platforms is now strongly recommended by both the HSE and regulatory bodies such as IPAF. The use of harnesses in a scissorlift is down to individual risk assessment, with many contractors choosing to insist on their use. We at AJ Access Platforms agree with these views and advise all our customers to use the appropriate work restraint harnesses when using access platforms.
We can supply you with a work restraint lanyard with adjustable length lanyard from a leading UK manufacturer. The adjustable lanyard means that wherever the anchorage point on the machine is, the operator can ensure the harness is being secured correctly.
