Service & Maintenance Agreements for Access Platforms

Under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998, all aerial work platforms and MEWPs must be thoroughly examined every six months by a competent person to ensure they are safe to use.

  • 2 x mandatory LOLER inspections per year

Breakdown cover can also be included at an agreed additional cost, providing extra peace of mind. 

All service and maintenance agreements are subject to a prior machine inspection.

LOLER Examinations – Keeping You Compliant

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requires all Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) to be thoroughly examined at least every six months under LOLER Regulation 9(c). 

A Competent Assessed Person (CAP) is independently assessed by IPAF to ensure they are fully qualified to examine your machine safely and effectively. 

AJ Access provides LOLER examinations as part of our SMA or as a standalone service, helping you meet legal obligations and protect your workforce.
